Account Manager (US-2020-04)
The responsibilities of the Account Manager are:
Knowledge and Skills:
A background in sales and customer management is essential with a proven track record and ability to liaise with internal and external clients at all levels. The Account Manager must have excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to hold teammates accountable, the ability to work with a minimum of supervision and the ability to represent the company at the highest level. Knowledge of existing client contracts and industry issues is essential and the ability to negotiate when necessary as required. The individual should continue to develop a working knowledge of Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance industry practices.
Education and Experience:
BS/BA degree in a business discipline is preferred; however, experience in managing existing client accounts is essential. Experience of communicating with both consumers/customers and the business is essential.
The employee must be able to use a computer and telephone.
