Project Manager (LISLE-2020-10)

Job Description

The Responsibilities of the Project Manager are:

  • Finalize scope and define deliverables
  • Identify resources needed
  • Leading complex technology implementations
  • Ability to drive project forward, even when obstacles arise
  • Manage client expectations
  • Create and manage project schedules and assure that project objectives and deadlines are met
  • Ensure schedule is followed
  • Monitor and control project scope
  • Escalate requests as necessary
  • Facilitate project meetings as appropriate
  • Take or facilitate corrective actions for project when appropriate
  • Control program budget expenses
  • Communicate with all project team members and key players
  • Understand project risks and plan mitigating actions
  • Minimize the company’s exposure to risk on project and enforce project standards
  • Business travel as directed by management and dictated by customer needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

Must have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, Adobe, SDLC and Project Life Cycle.
The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to project members at various levels and have a knowledge of the industry and understanding of the workplace environment both internally and externally. The individual should continue to develop a working knowledge of medical information and pharmacovigilance industry practices.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager. A proven track record of managing internal and external clients is necessary as is a proven ability to ensure tight deadlines are met by the project team.
The individual should also understand healthcare business functions with the ability to understand complex software and be adept at conflict resolution and negotiation with proficiency at multi-tasking, problem solving and creative thinking.
