Executive Vice President of Human Resources (Ft Lauderdale, FL)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Vice President of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership and direction to all facets of human resources management. The EVP of HR will directly participate in companywide planning and decision making as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. The EVP of HR uses market research to determine and recommend internal changes where necessary to remain competitive in the job market. This position is also responsible for the strategic planning of the benefits suite and global organizational development and training as well as guiding global management and senior management with personnel related incidents and decisions. It is necessary to embody strong conflict resolutions skills and interpersonal communication in order to handle sensitive matters within all levels of the organization

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and laws by monitoring and implementing appropriate human resources programs, practices, policies and procedures
  • Securely maintain all Human Resources related records Administer, analyze and recommend changes to compensation, benefits and corporate polices to establish competitive programs
  • Manage the full-cycle of the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process
  • Advise and train managers on organizational policies
  • Provide all employees, managers and senior managers with organizational development and training
  • Review and resolve employee questions, concerns or disagreements
  • Work closely with the human resources team on initiatives and programs
  • Oversee and coach HR team members in relations to employee relations, HR policies, recruitment, compensation and benefits administration
  • Align our talent strategy to be an employer of choice within our industry
  • Preforms other duties as assigned


SKILLS NEEDED

  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management
  • In-depth knowledge regarding local and international Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Full-Cycle Performance Management skills
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration
  • Policy and procedure development and administration
  • Conflict resolution
  • Ability to generate inspiration in others through mentorship and guidance
  • Team player

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 10 - 15 years of experience in a senior level human resources role.
  • 7 – 10 years of hands-on organizational development experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working as an HR leader at a global company
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to provide senior management with sound employee relations direction
  • Strategic thinker
  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM – CP or SHRM – SCP designation a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in ADP a plus
  • Certification in Organizational Development a plus
