Benefits
Ensure Consistent Coding Across Trials
AutoEncoder maintains consistency in coding across multiple trials and systems by providing a centralized platform that integrates with various Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems. Standardized templates and streamlined workflows ensure that coding practices remain consistent, no matter the scale or complexity of your trial.
Near-time Updates for Faster Decision-Making within TrialMaster
AutoEncoder’s integration with TrialMaster offers a comprehensive solution for trial management, ensuring that new verbatim entries and suggested coding appear immediately. Quick access to case report forms via hyperlinks further speeds up decision-making, enabling coders to quickly approve matches without manual searches.
Reusable Drag-and-Drop Dictionary Integrations
AutoEncoder’s reusable drag and drop domain mappings of input/export fields from any EDC to any MedDRA or WHODrug dictionary makes setup time quick and easy. This quick and straightforward setup significantly reduces integration time, leading to faster trial initiation and more efficient data management throughout the study lifecycle.
Reduce the Manual Coding Burden
Manually sifting through medical dictionaries is time-consuming, prone to human error, and drains resources. AutoEncoder automates this process with advanced algorithms that match free text entries to the appropriate dictionary terms. This drastically reduces manual effort, improving accuracy, and speeding up the entire process.
Key Capabilities
The interface is designed for maximum efficiency, featuring an intuitive layout that allows users to easily sort and filter every column. Users can customize which columns they see and arrange them in their preferred order. With direct hyperlinks to the complete source form in the EDC system, users can seamlessly access relevant information. Additionally, an audit trail enhances transparency throughout the system.
AutoEncoder allows for flexible management of settings at various levels, including trial, trial group, or organization. Users can easily load and manage synonym lists to enhance functionality. User management is streamlined at the organization level, ensuring efficient oversight of roles and responsibilities.
AutoEncoder’s cloud-based capabilities ensure seamless accessibility across all major web browsers. This flexibility allows users to access the platform from anywhere, facilitating collaboration and efficiency. AutoEncoder supports multi-organization and multi-user roles, enabling organizations to manage multiple user groups and permissions effectively.
Users can leverage advanced search capabilities and generate reports based on Standard MedDRA Queries (SMQs), ensuring a streamlined and effective workflow.
AutoEncoder enables the assignment of users to one or more standard roles, such as System Administrator, Super User, Coder, Reviewer, Approver, Read Only, and Read Only Monitor. This role-based access control ensures that users have appropriate permissions based on their responsibilities, enhancing overall data protection and integrity. Settings can be managed at the trial, trial group, or organization level.
Initially, the system receives verbatim terms that need coding, which are then automatically assessed using the Auto-Code feature to suggest potential matches from medical dictionaries. Users can either accept the proposed match or conduct a manual search with the Manual Code feature for more precision.
There is also the option for independent review and approval after coding to ensure quality. The coding results are automatically transmitted back to the source system, completing the workflow and facilitating seamless data integration. This structured approach enhances both speed and accuracy in coding activities.
