Director IT Systems (Ft Lauderdale, FL)

POSITION SUMMARY

Director IT Systems is responsible for the Global Systems Infrastructure and Hosting. Managing and overseeing systems architecture, deployments, performance and ongoing maintenance of all physical and cloud environments. This position involves leading large projects, building the team’s momentum, assigning tasks and time management meeting targeted goals. The Director IT Systems will be multifaceted individual who works closely with other departments and leaders across the organization, with a solid track record of hands-on experience with enterprise level server hardware, operating systems and cloud solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Strong Active Directory and DNS experience in a multi-subnet, multi-site environment.
  • Knowledge of internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, SMTP and SNMP.
  • Experience in Windows Server 2019/2016/2012.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 platform, Exchange online, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Experience with supporting Azure and AWS infrastructure.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Azure Tenant and subscription management.
  • General knowledge in MS SQL 2019/2016.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2010 and SharePoint online usage experience.
  • Hands-on Virtualization experience with VMWare in a Production capacity.
  • VMWare experience in a High Availability SAN environment a plus.
  • Experience in automating system builds for Workstations and Servers via Imaging/Scripting technologies.
  • Experience implementing and supporting various SAN.
  • General knowledge of IP networks, network components, and troubleshooting using tools to diagnose and resolve network issues.
  • Knowledge of system, application, and network security a plus.
  • Experience with HP server hardware and SAN.
  • Must have experience working in a co-location Data Center environment.
  • Must be committed to providing fault tolerant and highly available systems/services.
  • Ability to assume significant responsibility and operate at a high level both independently and as part of a team effort.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Committed to the delivery of a high quality of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in a production internet facing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of the Azure cloud architecture for hosting Anju SAAS solutions.
  • Responsible for driving and encouraging innovation across team.
  • Management of Microsoft Office 365 platform, Exchange online, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Responsible for managing and supporting all Azure, AWS and Colo Data Center infrastructures.
  • Responsible for managing and supporting all physical servers, hardware, SAN’s, VMWare Servers, SharePoint servers, applications servers, domain controllers, DNS Servers, etc.
  • Responsible for managing departments Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Instruction (WI) documentation.
  • Responsible for leading Troubleshooting sessions. (Server problems, performance, outages, etc.)
  • Responsible for all server maintenance, security patching and monitoring of systems.
  • Lead projects (Create scope, detailed project plans, Timelines, implementation)
  • Manage client Audits, prepare, and present presentations to Auditors
  • Manage and respond to RFI, RFP, Questionnaires, Security Questionnaires, Information Security Assessments, Cybersecurity Assessments, Data Processing Agreements and Risk Assessments.
  • Responsible for yearly Disaster Recovery testing of all systems.
  • Responsible for implementing best practice security standards across all systems.
  • Provides scheduled and impromptu management reports.
  • Provides after hour support for planned maintenance, perform on-call emergency support service, and patching when required.
  • Mentor and provide direction to direct reports.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.
